The Longest Week Finally Ends

What a week, huh?
For those of us in the United States or with a vested interest in American politics, it’s been an interminable four days of anxiety, tension, furiously refreshing maps and learning a lot about the sociopolitical nuances of various Georgia counties.
I don’t know about you, but I’m spent. I have a deep, lifelong love of maps; I would read World Book atlases in bed as a child and I sometimes decompress by just opening Google Maps and poking around. After this week, I do not want to see another map the rest of 2020. (Which is convenient, I guess, in a time where I can’t go anywhere.)
We have never needed a weekend more than we need the weekend ahead of us.
Let’s keep this brisk, and get right to the livin’.
