If you’re in the United States or Canada, I bet you are. It’s natural, of course—we’re all attempting to reset our internal clocks after Daylight Savings Time started early Sunday morning, and that’s not nearly as easy as resetting the clock on the oven was.

As hard as the time change is on all of us—and I’ve got two kids and two dogs, fully resetting the household usually takes a week or more—I’ll confess, I’m still a big fan of Daylight Savings Time as a set of hours. I have no particular need for daylight in the morning; I don’t mind driving to work in the dark one bit. On the other end, I love the fact that we’ve gained an extra hour of daylight in the evening; I can actually spend time outdoors after dinner, and that’s a real gift.
