The least surprising parts of this:

Olaf attempting to Kool-Aid Man through the tent

The 6 am emotional terrorism (thankfully, my daughter spent the morning screaming at me to leave the room and “stop saying words” so my broken, calloused heart was immune today)

Best part:

"10:58pm / Hear animal footsteps outside tent. Text wife to bring wolf inside.

11:00pm / Receive photo of wolf sleeping on couch in response. Concerning on multiple levels. Decide not to pursue further, and try to sleep."

Tettigoniidae (redirect from “katydid”) > Bradyporinae > Ephippigerini > Ephippiger > Croatia > Serbia

This might be my new favorite post.

Also, it reminds me that I promised a backyard camping adventure and I should probably get that going soon (as our warmest months are September and October).
