The wait between these installments is worse than the wait in between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Scott this is such a wonderful story! I’m more convinced now that writers really need to unleash group chats in their work more often. Between this part and how effectively Jason Kirk deployed his AIM conversations in his novel, just keep dipping in that well!!

I'm a little late to parts 1 and 2 but I'd just like to say that this is coming out at exactly the right time for me, a 31yo man who hasn't swung a bat or fielded a ball since senior year of high school, to be suiting up for the first game of a local sandlot league this weekend.
