What a perfect descriptor. I feel like Mobile is similar: great for a long weekend, a little longer if it's Mardi Gras season, and then... well, we've pretty much done all the things, haven't we.
It's not a bad place for a smaller-ish city to be! There are plenty of bigger cities that can't deliver that good a long weekend.
Then there's Las Vegas, which is a blast but that I firmly believe has a 72-hour body clock for 95% of people. After 72 hours, you need to be headed to the airport.
